Invitation to Bid for the Transfer Station Attendant Building.

The Town of West Bridgewater invites contractors to submit Bid Proposals for the  Transfer Station 
Attendant Building at 218 Elm Street in West Bridgewater, in accordance with the documents prepared by RMD 
Collaborative, LLC, 685 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA.

Bid Documents will be available and any questions will be addressed by emailing the Owner’s Project

Filed Sub-Bids will be received until  February 14, 2024 at 2:00 P.M.
General Bids will be received until  February 28, 2024 at 2:00 P.M.

The envelope containing the Bid and required information must be sealed and marked with the 
Proposer’s name, title of proposal, Trade/Section of Work (in the case of filed-sub bidders) and 
date of opening.  The Proposer must sign all required signature pages in order for the proposal to 
be considered.
All bids for the project are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149, Sections 44A and 44J 
and to minimum wages as required by M.G.L. Chapter 149 Sections 26 to 27H inclusive.

General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) in the 
following category of work:  General Construction.

Filed Sub-Bidders must be DCAM certified for the trades listed below and bidders must include a 
current DCAM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement.

An optional Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held for all interested parties on February 7, 2024 at 10:00 
A.M. at 218 Elm Street, West Bridgewater.   In order to receive consideration, the Town/Architect 
must receive questions in writing by the close of business on February 8, 2024 for filed sub-bid 
related questions and February 21, 2024 for general bid questions.

All Bidders must use the prescribed bid forms available in this Specification.

The Town of West Bridgewater will reject any or all bids when required to do so by the above referenced
General Laws or if it deems it to be in the public interest to do so. The Awarding Authority also reserves the
right to waive any informalities in any bid based on the public interest to proceed in this way.

The Town of West Bridgewater invites qualified bidders to submit bids for Kennel Boarding & Consulting Services for the period beginning July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2025.

Design Services – Intergenerational Sports complex
 

The Town of West Bridgewater invites submission of qualifications in accordance with MGL c7Designer Selection Procedures for professional services to be provided for design and construction of an Intergenerational sports complex.   Estimated value of contract is $75,000.00.  Bid documents will be available on February 2, 2022 starting at 10:00am.  A site visit is scheduled for February 7, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the project site which is located at 134 Lincoln St.  Qualification packages are due on March 1, 2022 at 11:00am, at Town Hall, 65 North Main St. at the Office of the Board of Selectmen.  The Town of West Bridgewater reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.

Museum Roof-Town Hall 

The Town of West Bridgewater soliciting quotes to replace and install a roof at the West Bridgewater Museum Building, 65 North Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA .

Bids are subject to MGL 30 Section 39M; and MGL 149, Sections 26 through 27J, and Sections 44A through 44M inclusive.

Bids will be received until 2 p.m. on December 15, 2021 in the Selectmen’s office, Town Hall, 65 North Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.

All quotes must be sealed and clearly marked “Quotes for the Museum Roof.” All Quotes MUST include fully completed and be in compliance with ALL specifications listed in the Specifications to be considered.

Bid specifications, plans and bid instructions may be obtained in the Selectmen’s Office, between 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and 8:30 to 12 noon on Fridays.

The Town of West Bridgewater is hereby soliciting responses to the “Request for Proposals” for the Design/Build Pre-Fabricated Metal Building services for the construction of the West Bridgewater DPW Cold Storage Building project.

An original and one (1) copy of the responses to the “Request for Proposal” must be submitted with all information as required in the “Request for Proposal”.

Source Capture Vehicle Exhaust System

The Town of West Bridgewater is accepting sealed bids for a Source Capture Vehicle Exhaust System for the Central Fire Station located at 99 West Center Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379. 

A site visit is scheduled for Monday, October 27, 2020 at 10:00am at the Central Fire Station.  Masks and other COVID precautions will be in place.  It is highly recommended that interested parties attend this site visit.

Traffic Signal Installation Project Rt 106 and Howard Street

The Town of West Bridgewater is hereby soliciting sealed bids for the Traffic Signal Installation Project at Route 106 and Howard Street. Bids will be open at the Office of the Board of Selectmen at the West Bridgewater Town Hall on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 2 pm.  Bids received after such time will not be accepted. Sealed envelopes containing bids must be clearly marked in accordance with the Bidding Contract Requirements. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a BID BOND, CASH, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the bid price.

Bid documents may be obtained in electronic format on or after Wednesday, June 3, 2020 by e- mail at jnoyes@gpinet.com.    All bidders must be prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation – Highway Division.

                                                      September 11th Memorial Relocation Bid  

The Town of West Bridgewater is hereby soliciting written quotes for September 11th Memorial Relocation.  Written quotes shall be received at the Office of the Board of Selectmen at the West Bridgewater Town Hall until Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.  Written responses received after such time will not be accepted.  Envelopes containing quotes must be clearly marked in accordance with the Bidding Contract Requirements.  

The work includes furnishing and installing a memorial plaza, including colored/patterned cement concrete sidewalks; granite cobble edging; granite seat blocks; granite banding and decorative stone much; topsoil filled planting areas; PVC sleeves for future irrigation and electric by others; memorial relocation; pavement markings; and compost filter tubes.  If funding allows, the work may also consist of furnishing and installing plantings.  The total estimated value of the work is less than $50,000.

The Town of West Bridgewater invites sealed bids for the repair and reconstruction of the sidewalks at and around the library. Bids are due by 3:00 p.m., September 12, 2017 in the Historical Room of the West Bridgewater Public Library, 80 Howard Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379, at which time they will be publically opened and read.

A copy of the contract, bid forms, plans, and specifications is available electronically by contacting Ellen Snoeyenbos, Library Director, at ellens@sailsinc.org. Hard copies of the Bidding Documents for the work are available for pick-up at the West Bridgewater Public Library, 80 Howard Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

War Memorial Park - Repair and Reconstruction of Stone Walls, July 5, 2017      AWARDED: RAMCO SURVEY STAKES

  The Town of West Bridgewater invites sealed bids for the repair/reconstruction of stone millrace walls at War Memorial Park, River Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379, in accordance with Contract Documents prepared by Fuss & O'Neill, 317 Iron Horse Way, Suite 204, Providence, RI 02908. Bid documents will be available Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in the Selectmen's Office, Mon - Thurs 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday. The property is listed in the State and National Registers of Historic Places and all work must comply with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historical Properties with Guidelines for the Treatment of Cultural Landscapes.

A mandatory pre-bid conference and walk-thru will be held at 1:00 p.m. on site on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at War Memorial Park, River Street.
