The Board of Selectmen licenses various businesses. Below you will find applications for those licenses. However, certain establishments require additional permitting from other departments, such as, but not limited to, the Board of Health, the Building Inspector, or the Zoning Board of Appeals. In most cases, businesses also require a Business Certificate, available through the Town Clerk's Office.
All License Applications must have a Worker's Compensation Affidavit attached.
As we enter in to PHASE II of Governor Baker's Phased Reopening, restaurants are authorized to open for outdoor seating service only, contingent upon the approval of the Board of Selectmen. If your establishment is not already license to operate an outdoor seating area, and you would like to open and operate a temporary outdoor seating area, then please fill out the application linked below and forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org. All applications will be processed electronically.
