Christopher Iannitelli, a lifelong resident of the town, has been the elected Tree Warden and appointed Forestry Superintendent since 1991.  He served as a Call Firefighter/EMT in town for many years. Chris served as the Chairman of the Center of Town Committee that developed the Downtown District Bylaw. Chris served as Chairman of the Open Space Committee, and is currently Vice Chair of the Community Preservation Committee. Chris served two terms on the Board of Trustees for Plymouth County Extension. Chris has been a Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist since 1984. Chris was appointed Director of Public Works in October of 2017.

Over the years, Chris has heavily relied on creative financing for his projects. This strategy has included use of grants, donations, and funds made available through the Community Preservation Act.  Under Chris, many active and passive recreation projects have been developed and maintained for the long term.



Shawn Anderson

 Shawn Anderson

Shawn Anderson has been a resident of West Bridgewater his entire life.  He was hired by the Highway Department in November of 1994 and has worked his way up over the years as a Laborer/Truck Driver to Foreman, to Assistant Superintendent, and now as Assistant Director of the Department of Public Works.  Shawn manages the daily operations of the department as well as plans all projects.  These projects may include paving, drainage repairs, salting and plowing snow, and maintenance and repairs on all equipment within the department.  Shawn is also OSHA certified since 2010 in trenching and drainage excavation safety.  Shawn is a Bay State Road Scholar of paving and repairing roads and sidewalks, as well as UMTC UMass Transportation Center certified in leadership.

When Shawn isn't at work, he spends his time outdoors with his family. Shawn's wife, 3 kids, parents and other extended family members are residents in Town and part of Shawn's daily life.  Shawn's motivation is to keep the Town well maintained for the next generation, knowing his family will have a bright future here.





Tom Souza
Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent

Tom Souza was hired in March of 2010 as the Assistant Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent and is currently the Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent.  Tom has worked in the automobile industry for over 39 years.  Tom has extensive experience working with numerous vehicles to include police vehicles as well as medium and heavy duty trucks.  Tom has numerous certifications to include ASE certification and Air Brake certification as well as many others.  Tom is highly motivated to keep the motor vehicle fleet in optimum working condition and maximize the life of all the Town's vehicles.

When Tom isn't at work, he spends his free time with his son and his family.  Tom enjoys snowmobiling in northern New Hampshire.
