Prefer Knowledge of Process instrumentation equipment, Electrical Systems, Jack of all trades type person, knowledge of PLC’s a plus, or College of Engineering Degree, Vocational School with Trades Diploma.
This job requires a 30-minute response time to West Bridgewater, during rush hour.
This job requires Walking, Crawling, Climbing, Stooping, and Kneeling on various surfaces.

Fire Chief

Town of West Bridgewater
West Bridgewater, Massachusetts (population 7,500) is seeking a Fire Chief due to retirement of the Town's long-time Fire Chief, to start April 1, 2021. Non-civil service department. Appointed by the Board of Selectmen; under administrative oversight of Town Administrator. Position will manage a $2.4M budget and oversee seventeen full-time firefighters who also provide EMS services. Minimum qualification of twelve years as a full-time fire department employee with a current minimum rank of Deputy Fire Chief or equivalent. Minimum education required is a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Sciences or equivalent. State accreditation as a Fire Chief through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Fire Commission highly desirable. October 23, 2020-Water Department Laborer

The Town of West Bridgewater is seeking a full time Laborer in the Water Department. 

The ideal candidate will be required to perform various types of physical labor as a basic function of the job.  Water utility experience is preferred but not required, knowledge of piping systems, process instrumentation equipment, electrical systems and PLC’s a plus.  This job requires a 30-minutes response time to West Bridgewater.

October 11, 2019 - Water Department Laborer

The West Bridgewater Water Department seeks a qualified candidate for the position of water laborer until the position is filled. The candidate must hold a minimum of a Treatment T2 License Full, must hold a minimum of a Distribution D2 License Full, must have a CDL Class B Driver's license, with with Air Brake endorsement, must have a Massachusetts 2A Hoisting license and must be able to work with ESRI ArcGIS.
