Town Administrator David Gagne
Mr. Gagne was appointed by the Board of Selectmen on April 16, 2013. Prior to his appointment, Mr. Gagne served as a Special Assistant to the Town Administrator in Dartmouth and as the Assistant to the Town Administrator in Plainville. Mr. Gagne holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. He also received a dual Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in Political Science and in History.
Mr. Gagne has been a member of the Massachusetts Municipal Managers Association and the Massachusetts Municipal Human Resources Association since 2011. Currently, Mr. Gagne is a member of the MMMA Police Chief/Manager Committee and the MMMA Future Managers Committee. In addition, Mr. Gagne is the Vice-Chair of the Southeastern Regional Services Group which services 20 South Shore communities in various procuring needs.
From 2011-2019, Mr. Gagne was an elected member of the Housing Committee in Plainville, serving as Chair for 2 years. Since 2008, he has also been a member of the Lions Association.
